She passed away today, Tuesday, at 6:00 a.m., while under treatment at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka (Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un). She was 80 years old.
Khaleda Zia was a living history of Bangladesh’s political transformation. With her passing, the country today has lost its beloved leader and is left speechless.
